Comprehensive development project helping N.V.G-Trans Kft adapt to modern business challenges 2024/02/28
NVG-Trans Kft was founded in 1996. Domestic and international freight transport is a key strategic line of business for the company, and since 2019 it has also expanded its fleet with vehicles capable of carrying oversized loads. The company also runs vehicle inspections, and thanks to its well-equipped premises, customers can choose from tyre fitting, wheel alignment and vehicle sales services as well. The business employs 23 people and, following the unexpected situation created by COVID, aims to diversify its activities further. To this end, a former sheep barn on its own site was converted into a tyre-fitting workshop, complemented by a solar panel installation, cloud services and staff training.
To achieve this goal, N.V.G -Trans Kft was awarded funding under call GINOP_PLUSZ-1.2.3-21-2022- 00456, Support for developments helping micro, small and medium-sized enterprises adapt to modern business and production challenges in the most disadvantaged regions, for its project proposal ” Az N.V.G-Trans Kft modern üzleti kihívásokhoz való alkalmazkodását elősegítő komplex fejlesztés” (Comprehensive development helping N.V.G-Trans Kft adapt to modern business challenges).

As part of the building development, a 900 m² sheep barn was completely converted into a tyre-fitting and car repair workshop and warehouse. In addition, 52 solar panels with a total output of 19.24 kW were installed, and adaptation to modern business services is supported by Microsoft 365 and related training for 3 employees. With the converted building, the company is now able to carry out tyre repairs on lorries and tractor units for itself and its partners, as the vehicles can be kept under cover. This significant development will readily deliver a one-and-a-half-fold increase in gross value added through higher revenue and lower material costs. The former sheep barn has become a proper hall in which tyre fitting and vehicle repairs can be carried out even on large heavy goods vehicles. Moving such large and heavy items is made easier by the newly purchased JCB wheel loader.
No obstacles were encountered during the implementation of the project, and all requirements were met smoothly.
